Dr. Bernd Malmström

Dr. Bernd Malmström blev medlem af bestyrelsen for selskabet i december 2005. Han blev valgt som formand for bestyrelsen i IFCO 26. september 2006. Hr. Malmström blev oprindeligt udnævnt for en periode af fire (4) år og blev 27. marts 2009 genudnævnt for endnu en periode af fire (4) år. I forbindelse med indførelsen af enstrenget ledelsesstruktur, fratrådte Hr. Malmström sin stilling som medlem af bestyrelsen fra 25. maj 2011. Med virkning fra 26. maj 2011 blev Hr. Malmström udnævnt som non-executive medlem af og formand for Board of Directors for en periode af fire (4) år. Hr. Malmström studerede jura ved universiteterne i Kiel og Freiburg (Tyskland) og har en ph.d. i jura. Hr. Malmström arbejder som advokat. Forud for dette har han haft forskellige lederstillinger hos Deutsche Bahn AG, Stinnes AG, Schenker-Rhenus-Group og VEBA AG. Hr. Malmström er også medlem af bestyrelsen i følgende virksomheder: BLG Logistics Group AG & Co KG (Advisory Board), Deutsche Afrika-Linien GmbH & Co KG (Advisory Board), time:matters GmbH (formand for Advisory Board), HHLA Intermodal GmbH (bestyrelse), K + S AG (bestyrelse), VTG AG (bestyrelse), Lehnkering GmbH (formand for bestyrelsen) og Schweizer Bundesbahn SBB AG (Board of Administration).
